The Bold Goals Education session focused on attendance and how schools can reduce chronic absenteeism. Chronic absenteeism is a major challenge for schools that directly affects the learning environment, the academic success of children and the overall results for schools and systems throughout Alabama.
Bold Goals Education is glad to share practical tools and best practices to help schools address chronic absenteeism. We have tested these tools and best practices in real schools in Central Alabama – with real results. It’s all part of our overarching effort to see that, by the year 2020, the graduation rate in Central Alabama will be 90 percent and every student will graduate prepared for college, career and life.
